Roof Restore Buddy is a free advertising and matching service that connects homeowners with independent, third-party roofing contractors. We are not a roofing contractor and do not perform roofing work.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide. Your name, email, phone number, property address and ZIP code, and details about your roofing project, plus any consent you give.

Information collected automatically. Device and browser data, IP address, pages viewed, referring URLs, and identifiers from cookies and similar technologies.

Consent-verification data. When you submit a form, we and our partners (such as ActiveProspect TrustedForm and Jornaya/LeadiD) may capture a tamper-evident record of your interaction, including a certificate, timestamp, and the consent language shown, to document your consent.

3. How we use your information

  • To match you with roofing contractors and enable them to contact you with quotes.
  • To operate, improve, and secure the Services.
  • To communicate with you about your request.
  • To prevent fraud and comply with law.

4. How we share your information

With matched contractors. When you submit a request, we share your contact and project details with one or more roofing contractors (and their authorized agents) so they can prepare a quote and contact you. These contractors are independent third parties and use your information under their own privacy policies.

With service providers. We use vendors for hosting, analytics, communications, and consent verification (e.g., TrustedForm, Jornaya) who process data on our behalf.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.

Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Your consent to be contacted (TCPA)

By submitting a request, you authorize Roof Restore Buddy and the contractors we match you with to contact you, including by automated technology, prerecorded messages, and SMS, at the phone number you provide, even if it is on a Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. See our Consent Terms. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to texts, asking to be removed on a call, or contacting us.

6. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and advertising attribution. You can control cookies through your browser. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a request to opt out of sale/sharing where applicable.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act / CPRA and similar state laws), you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request deletion or correction of your personal information.
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Children

The Services are intended for adults (18+) and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, where required, provide additional notice.
